At United Minds, we are working on creating spaces for people to connect with others and improve their wellbeing, in addition to individual therapy sessions.
We are planning a variety of groups for people of all ages.
PARENTING NEURODIVERGENT CHILDREN

This group is for parents of neurodivergent children 12 years and under (austistic or ADHD, or both)
Join fellow parents as we provide information around neurodiversity and how to best support your children, families and yourselves. We aim to build on your knowledge of affirming strategies in a collaborative way with informal discussions, interactive demonstrations and informational presentations

BRICK BUDDIES
SOCIAL GROUP​
FOR AGES 6 - 8
Brick Buddies provides a fun collaborative environment to support children to develop and enhance social, problem solving, and emotion regulation skills.​

$80 Per session​
Medicare Rebates available & NDIS funding accepted

6 session, once every three weeks
First session to take place on Thursday 5th of October 2023 at 4:30pm
Once the group commences, membership will be closed so that the same group of children will complete the group sessions together. The group is conducted in-person in a semi-structured format: while there will be planned activities, the children will also be engaged in free play.

We are looking to run the group for older primary school-aged children (9-12 years old) in the future.

OVERCOMING ANXIETY TOGETHER
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence based treatment for Anxiety.
​
Program involves meeting Fortnightly to focus on thoughts, behaviours and feelings.
$50.00 per Session
Medicare Rebates Available
As a small group, we will explore using Cognitive Behavioural techniques to learn how to adopt strategies to combat Anxiety.
